CAREER COACHING

 

During these sessions, we will use both career coaching techniques and vocational indicators in your staff member's or customer's natal chart to help them in their career transition. These sessions can be used in various contexts whether they are changing careers, going back to work after a break or transition from employment to self-employment.

We will explore their options, current situation, USPs and motivators, and look at the psychological factors at play. We will create a plan of action. If they want to find a new job, we will write their CV and improve their interview technique.  If they want to transition to self-employment, we look at the technicalities of self-employment and the steps they have to take to make a viable business proposition. The coach is there to guide them but they will have to do the bulk of the work themselves. These sessions require commitment because they can only get out of them what they put in and there will be homework!​

JOB INTERVIEW COACHING

Job interviews and assessment centres are still employers' preferred methods of assessing candidates. Just like anything else, it is a skill and no matter how suitable you are, if you are unable to interview well, the job will go to someone who does.

 

I have interviewed over 6,000 candidates for various roles and took part in hundreds of assessment centres at PwC, EY, HM Treasury, Ministry of Justice, Jaguar Land Rover, London Stock Exchange, TATA Steel and more. I've worked across various sectors ranging from the public sector to financial services, automotive, engineering, media, telecoms and more. I have lectured employability at Kingston University, London Met, the University of East London and the University of Lincoln. I know what makes a strong candidate (so well that I'm writing a book about it).  I can help your customers and colleagues prepare themselves, figure out the possible questions they will be asked and find examples in their careers that demonstrate that they possess the required competencies and strengths. I can help them with competency-, strengths-, scenario-based and motivational questions. I can help with both face-to-face and virtual assessment centres. They will be assessed as if they were interviewing you for a real job. They will get detailed feedback and learn what went well and what needs working on.
