The full moon in Gemini on 15th December is happening at 9.01am at 23º52'. It’s forming a loose T-square with Neptune. The tightest aspect at the time of this lunation is the trine between Mars in Leo and Mercury in Sagittarius. We will also have an applying square between Jupiter and Saturn, of which I wrote in more detail in my full moon in Aquarius and new moon in Leo posts so I won’t be covering it here.
A full moon in Gemini is a culmination of all things to do with communication and learning. It’s a very agile full moon facilitating adaptable approaches, social interaction and an easy flow of information. This particular one offers plenty of opportunities for lively interaction and exchanging creative ideas but not for making final decisions (more on that later). We had a new moon in Gemini six months ago so it’s worth checking what you started at that time. It’s a good time to wrap it up or move it on to the next stage. If you have problems with accessing the cheerful and chatty Gemini energy, feel free to listen to my Gemini meditation.

During this full moon, we have a lovely trine between Mars in Leo and Mercury in Sagittarius which is going out of the retrograde the same day at 9.56am. It facilitates energised and passionate conversations, flowing smoothly and direct in all the right places. It will be a time of lively interactions (well, for me it will be because I’m attending two Christmas parties the night before this full moon). Mercury in Sagittarius is a bit less detailed than usual but it’s great for talking about visions and the big picture. For businesses, it will be a great time to discuss overarching strategies for the coming year without focusing on the practical steps just yet (there will be a time for that later). You can let your imaginations go wild (especially since Neptune is involved in this lunation). Mars in Leo is driven to shine and put itself out there so it’s a great time to brainstorm marketing and branding ideas.
This full moon forms a T-square with Neptune (more on what a T-square is can be found here). A square is a tense aspect signifying an element of tension or friction. Neptune distorts reality so not everything may be clear at the time of this full moon or things may not be what they seem. Some things may remain unsaid, omitted or they may change later (especially when Mercury turns direct) so it’s best to avoid making any final decisions or at least allow some flexibility if anything changes. We can use this time constructively by brainstorming ideas, exchanging opinions, talking big visions and being creative. The above-mentioned Mars-Mercury trine definitely facilitates that. Let all those ideas gestate in your mind throughout the Christmas season and when you come back, you should have more clarity about which ones you want to develop further.
The people most affected by this full moon are those with personal placements or angles at 22º’24º of mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) or those born on 13th-15th June, 14th-16th September, 14th-16th December and 12th-14th March). Remember that for a more accurate forecast, you should read your Ascendent sign and not your Sun sign but bear in mind that this is very general and it might be happening in a slightly different part of your chart. If you don't know what that is, drop me an email with your date, place and time of birth and I will send you a copy of your chart (I will also add you to the list of my newsletter subscribers).

Here’s the breakdown for all 12 signs:
ARIES
This full moon is happening in you!r communication and networking sector. While opportunities to present ideas or collaborate may arise, Neptune’s influence suggests the potential for misunderstandings. Double-check contracts, emails and verbal agreements (especially that Mercury is currently retrograde). Use your creativity and natural leadership to cut through confusion but avoid acting on assumptions.
TAURUS
This full moon highlights your finances and self-worth but make sure you don’t overestimate budgets or undervalue your worth. There is a risk of misquoting a client or undervaluing yourself in any other situation, especially as a result of pressure from your peers. You might also find yourself wondering how your long-term objectives may affect your finances. Clarity around pay, investments or stakeholder expectations is crucial. A family member may offer valuable advice at this time.
GEMINI
This is your full moon so it’s an opportunity for completion in any area of your life. There could be some confusion or unanswered questions in the realm of your career and public image but Mars in your third house should give you the confidence to address the issue head-on with your business partners and stakeholders. There is good potential for reviving some old relationships, personal or professional. There may also be an opportunity to meet interesting people in your local community.
CANCER
The full moon invites you to take a step back and recharge your batteries. Take some time to see what things, people or projects have outstayed their welcome and let them go. If you’re not sure which of them should go, write a list of potential candidates and make a decision around the new moon in Capricorn. You might get some clarity around your work and finances at this time or at least feel motivated to sort out any issues to do with those areas.
LEO
This full moon energises your social and networking sector and, with Mars in your sign, it’s a good time to put yourself out there and network. You might also be able to finalise a long-term goal around this time. There may be some confusion around investments, funding, taxes, debt or shared resources which may be a sign that you should let some of those connections go. If you want to persevere with them, you should be able to come up with some creative solutions at this time but don’t make any definitive decisions just yet. Wait at least until Mercury goes direct.
VIRGO
This full moon highlights your career and public image. A professional project might reach completion or you could gain recognition for your efforts but you may find that not everyone is on the same page as you - they might try to discourage you or play down your achievements. With Mars in your 12th house, you might be your own worst critic at this time. Talk to a family member as they may have a positive influence on you and provide some clarity.
LIBRA
This full moon is happening in a very adventurous part of your chart so it might be a good time to complete higher studies (or finally decide on what you want to study) or brainstorm travel ideas. Work, health or your daily routine may throw a cloud of doubt on your plans or you might find yourself torn between a few options. Consult with your peers, siblings or local community as they might shine a new light on the matter. Alternatively, this full moon might trigger a need to form an opinion about a religious, legal, political or moral matter.
SCORPIO
This full moon is happening in your sector of shared resources, taxes, debt and investments. If you’re writing your will, a question of how to distribute your wealth among your children could arise. If it’s more around investments, you might find yourself torn about which entrepreneurial project to pursue. It’s best to wait with making any decisions at least until Mercury goes direct. Don’t worry, no one will think that you lack confidence. Mars in your sector of career and public image is giving you a lot of drive and charisma and it might be a catalyst to some good news on the money front around the time of this lunation.
SAGITTARIUS
For you, this full moon could be a turning point in your one-on-one connections but a home or family matter could get in the way and cloud your judgement. If it has to do with a legal matter, you might be able to find the right words to explain your position. Mars is giving you the drive to expand your horizons so you might want to ask yourself who you want to take on this journey with you.
CAPRICORN
For you, it’s your daily routine, work and health that are highlighted. You might complete a project or feel the need to reassess how you manage your time and energy (which you may lack at this time). Pay attention to the mind-body connection. This is a great time to implement habits that support your well-being, especially if they involve talking therapies, journaling or guided meditations.
AQUARIUS
This full moon is happening in your sector of creativity, romance, children and self-expression. It’s a great time to go out, go on dates, have fun with your kids or complete a creative project. There is a caveat though. All those nice things come with a price tag so watch your finances. Alternatively, if you’re dating two people, you might realise that it’s time to decide who you want to commit to and it might not be an easy choice. Give yourself time to make the right decision.
PISCES
For you, this full moon puts a spotlight on your home and family. You might want to finalise a domestic matter but the course of action might not be immediately clear. Park it for a moment as you might not have all the information just yet. Focus on your work and career. There could be some positive developments there, which may influence your decisions concerning other areas of your life.
